BPSC Youth Basketball

• This league is offered to 3rd through 6th grade boys and girls.

• Boys and girls are on separate teams, 3rd/4th and 5th/6th graders are mixed on same sex teams.

• Players should be able to commit to practice 2 times per week, between 6PM-9PM, usually for 1-1/2 Hours. Practices start in early November and will be held at Bath/Cairo.

• Both boys and girls will play in the WOYBL that is run by the Lima City Parks & Recreation Department (Western Ohio Youth Basketball League).

• Games will be held on Saturdays, usually between 8AM and 2PM.

• Some of the other schools participating include LCC, Shawnee, Elida, Lima City, Wapak, Temple Christian, Spencerville, Perry and St. Mary's.  Games are held at all schools.

• Each team will play 10-12 Games (Plus Possible Tournament Games) – Games start the first week of December and run through mid-February.

• Fees are $50 per player.  This covers the league entry fees, reversible jersey for each player (with number), referee fees, gym use costs, BPSC insurance costs, basketballs, and other equipment & operating expenses.
